What did we learn on Day 2?
- We reviewed 11 French fashion magazines and noticed: more fashion coverage, less celebrity, more nudity, more beauty, new fitness focus (Paris Vogue), less ads, importance of French fashion icons (Bardot).
- We took street shots outside of the Chanel couture show at Grand Palais. What did we see? The reality of blogging and street styles is that people dress for getting their picture taken, it’s not as random, more strategic than we thought.
- The speed of coverage from the shows by checking on Instagram and other blogs.
- Visiting Assouline Publishing shop, we were excited by their unique ways of publishing including actual photo and art prints pasted in the books. We loved the variety of topics, lifestyle, food, some exposed topics such as WASP style and the collectible sets which are pieces of art.
